Norway Customs Rules and Regulations

When it comes to customs duty and VAT, it depends on the items you’re shipping to Norway and their value.

Norway’s Customs website has a handy import calculator so you can easily work out how much duty and tax you may need to pay.

Generally, if you need to pay VAT on a shipment to Norway, it will be 25% of the parcel’s total value. The exception to this rule is if you’re sending a gift to Norway that is under NOK 1,000 (about £86), you usually won’t have to pay any import duties or taxes on your parcel!
