Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC)

Bolton Lads & Girls Club, founded in 1889, is dedicated to supporting young people in Bolton and surrounding areas. For over 135 years, BLGC has provided a safe space and vital services to children and young people aged 8–19 (or up to 25 for those with disabilities), helping them overcome challenges and achieve their ambitions.

BLGC operates a wide range of programs, including mentoring, youth clubs, and mental health support - offering 7-day-a-week services that truly make a difference. With a focus on building bright futures, BLGC’s mission is to inspire young people to be the best they can be.

This incredible organisation echoes our own values, and we’re honored to support their efforts in 2025.

We chose to support Bolton Lads and Girls Club because of their incredible impact on the lives of young people in the community. Their work ensures that children and teenagers have access to opportunities, guidance, and positive role models to help build their futures.

It costs over £3 million annually to deliver BLGC’s services. And with limited government funding, the charity relies heavily on donations to continue its excellent work.

By supporting BLGC, we aim to help more young people in Bolton access the opportunities needed to thrive.

Throughout 2025, we will be hosting events and initiatives to raise funds and awareness for Bolton Lads and Girls Club. From sponsored activities to getting directly involved with the young people in our community, we’ll be putting the spotlight on this amazing charity.
