Statement on Modern Slavery

 

This statement is made by Parcel2Go.com Limited (P2G) in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and covers the financial year from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.

Parcel2Go is the UK’s leading Parcel Comparison website handling in excess of 8 million parcels per annum through a variety of service partners.  Services are provided to customers via the Parcel2Go comparison web site.

The P2G workforce consists of full time and part time employees, the mix varies and considers seasonality and consumer demands.

P2G is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in its supply chain or any part of its business.

P2G is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all its business relationships and to taking reasonable steps to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any business or organisation that has any sort of a business relationship with the P2G.

 

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

 

P2G has a zero-tolerance policy towards slavery and human trafficking.  P2G expects all organisations in its supply chain and any contractors to comply with its values.

As part of its initiative to identify and mitigate risk, P2G has in place systems to encourage the reporting of concerns and ensure the protection of whistle-blowers.

P2G requires that all supply chain providers have suitable anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and processes.

 

Training

 

The P2G management team is responsible for compliance, each department head is responsible for its respective area and supplier relationships and have been trained accordingly.

All employees receive an induction into the business where its policies, procedures and expectations are outlined.

 

P2G Effectiveness in Combatting Slavery and Human Trafficking

 

P2G uses the following key performance indicators to measure how effective it has been in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of its business or supply chain:

  • Use of labour monitoring
    • Right to work documentation and payroll audits
  • P2G maintains a level of communication and personal contact with the next link in its supply chain to ensure the understanding of and compliance with its expectations.
  • P2G regularly reviews supply chain policies, codes of conduct and our working practices to show commitment.

 

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Company's slavery and human trafficking statement.

The Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is hereby approved by the Board of Directors of Parcel2Go.com Limited and all its subsidiaries.
